Originally from Athens, I moved to London at 17 to study Psychology at University College London (UCL), beginning a path that has woven together academic inquiry and clinical practice. I completed Master’s degrees in Psychoanalysis and Cognitive Neuroscience, followed by a PhD in Social Neuroscience, deepening my interest in the relationship between mind, brain, and body. Alongside my academic training, I qualified as a couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist at Tavistock Relationships (TR), a leading centre for relationship therapy.

I now work as a psychodynamic psychotherapist with couples and individuals at TR, CLRT, and through my small online private practice. I aim to provide a safe, confidential, and creative space for deep and honest self-exploration, approaching each person and relationship with care, openness, and sensitivity. I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds and work fluently in both English and Greek.

Alongside my clinical work, I teach and conduct research at UCL and the Anna Freud, where I lead the MSc in Early Child Development and Clinical Applications. I really value the ongoing dialogue between these areas of work, and how they continue to inform and enrich one another. This integrative perspective is also reflected in my work as co-editor and author of Perspectives on Early Parenthood and Infancy: A Psychoanalytic, Neuroscientific, Developmental and Cultural Dialogue (Routledge, 2026).

Areas that I regularly work with:

  • Major life transitions, including parenthood, separation and divorce, career change, redundancy or retirement, relocation, and menopause
  • Identity shifts related to ageing, parenthood, caregiving, and evolving life roles
  • Decisions about starting, postponing, or not having a family
  • Conception and fertility challenges
  • Living with illness or significant changes in physical health
  • Changes in body image related to fertility, pregnancy, illness, or ageing
  • Neurodiversity and its impact on self-understanding and relationships
  • Navigating differences within relationships (including culture, sexuality, and religion)
  • Communication difficulties, conflict, anger, and resentment
  • Loss and grief
